I was afraid that strength training automatically meant that I would end up looking large and bulky and that my food intake would soon be boring and extremely restrictive. He mapped out an entire meal plan for me (with delicious recipes) that incorporated how many calories I should have in a day and the amount of protein I should be eating to increase my muscle mass. My goal when we started was not only to look leaner but to learn about the types of exercises best suited for my ideal body shape. As we would train, Python would explain why he was choosing specific exercises for me and all the muscles that they targeted. He consistently encouraged me to reach my goals and always made me feel comfortable and safe in his presence (he also always forgave me easily when I would curse his name during squats).
